Version One does not include "House of the King" but does have the photos on the inside of the gatefold.    From what I understand, this was Focus' first album from For $ i gave it a shot. It has some good songs and several songs have vocals (later on a rarity for Focus songs). "Sugar Island" is an anti-Castro song about Cuba with a catchy and quirky melody and rhythm that will become an "ear worm."/5(37).

   Focus' debut album is gentler and more low-key and vocal-oriented than their subsequent efforts; fans of Jan Akkerman's pyrotechnics may be disappointed by his relatively restrained presence, but others may be pleasantly surprised to find a more economic group than they remember. A fair collection of progressive rock tunes without a clear focus, the material is dominated by Thijs .
